Toys are an integral part of a child’s cognitive development. Technology has outgrown the number of toys available in the market. Fancy toys are an attraction, but on 10 January 2023, we displayed a number of toys made from trash by our students in our school hall.
We encouraged our students to create toys based on Arvind Gupta Toys ( https://www.arvindguptatoys.com/). Arvind Gupta, a renowned toy inventor in India, has fascinated children across the country through his efforts.
Our students made beautiful toys with matchboxes, toothpaste cover, coconut shells and plastic bottles. Each one of it was unique and the students were excited to explain how it took shape and their experience of being a part of it.
