The staff and students of Malti Jayant Dalal High School, Santacruz, celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with much pomp and glory. The event consisted of speeches from eminent personalities like the Police Commissioner, S.D.O. and other dignitaries, dances, songs, street play acts, and a parade by the N.C.C. students.
The event started with the Principal of the school, the Police Commissioner, and S.D.O. unfurling the national flag and hoisting it. After the flag hoisting, the students of performed a march past and paid their respects to the national flag. The school choir team of the students and the teachers did a phenomenal job by singing the songs to pay tribute and mark respect to the country. Our Principal appreciated the hard work of every participants and thanked everyone for their efforts to make the event a huge success.
