India is a country with rich cultural and varied heritage.
Keeping this in mind, we organised a programme ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’, on 15 February, in our school.
All the students from grade 1 to 4 participated in this programme where we made the students aware of the culture and traditions of the state of Gujarat.
The students dressed up in traditional costumes, and also brought the various food items of Gujarat.
Teachers prepared presentations to explain the famous heritage structures of Gujarat like Statue of Unity. Also, the students got to know about the leaders of Gujarat.
To add to the fervour, students danced to the tunes of Garba — the famous folk dance of Gujarat.
