Every year Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on the 2nd of October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi was not only a great freedom fighter but also a mass leader and a representative of the poor and deprived people of India of the British era.
He always said, “Be the Change you want to see in the world.” To commemorate his birth anniversary, on the 3rd of October, our school had organised various activities including drawing competition, poster making competition & handwriting competition for the students of std 5th to 7th. We started the day by showing a documentary on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. All the students from std 5th to the 10th also participated in the activity that was conducted in the last period. The students had a good exposure and participated with great enthusiasm.
