15th October is observed as ‘Vachan Prerna Diwas’ or ‘Reading day’ every year.
The day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of our Late President – Dr.A.P.J.Abdul.Kalam who strongly advocated the importance of reading as a necessity and not merely a hobby.
To honour Dr. Kalam’s ideologoes and spreading awareness amongst the students, the students were given some time to read in their respective classes.
